TIRA SUSTAINABILITY MANIFESTO – OUR COMMITMENT TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

As an organization dedicated to promoting a more sustainable and responsible way of operating, we establish this Sustainability Manifesto to codify our commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability. We recognize the urgent need to address global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality. This charter serves as a guiding framework for our actions, decisions, and collaboration, reflecting our dedication to creating a positive impact on the planet and society.

This Sustainability Manifesto outlines TIRA’s unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable global mobility solutions. In a rapidly changing world, it is imperative to address the environmental, social, and economic challenges associated with mobility. As global mobility stakeholders, we are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices that contribute to a cleaner, more equitable, and economically viable future.

Our core principles include:

Environmental Responsibility: Environmental sustainability is the ability to maintain an ecological balance in our planet’s natural environment and conserve natural resources to support the wellbeing of current and future generations. We recognize the profound impact of global mobility on our planet and pledge to minimize environmental harm by adopting green technologies and practices.

Social Equity: A sustainable lifestyle is about making choices and taking eco actions and can be categorized in different areas of our lives. We strive to create a more inclusive and accessible mobility ecosystem, ensuring that all members of society have access to safe and efficient transportation solutions. The 5 principles of social sustainability are (1) social equity and justice, (2) diversity and inclusion, (3) democratic participation and empowerment, (4) livelihood security, and (5) social well-being and quality of life.

Economic Viability: We are committed to making sustainable mobility solutions financially viable and contributing to the economic well-being of communities and organizations. This includes protecting natural resources and rethinking consumption patterns for energy and water needs and identifying ways to curb unnecessary consumption.
