Presenters:

Simon Johnston, CEO and Founder of Icon, has been active in the global mobility industry for over 37 years. His career began at Black Horse Relocation, followed by a position at Nestlé as their Relocation Manager. Throughout his career, Simon has remained actively engaged in the industry, serving on the NEI Global Relocation Advisory Board and previously holding key roles, including Chair of The International Relocation Associates (TIRA) and the Association of Relocation Professionals (ARP). His focus at ARP was to promote greater government awareness and recognition of the relocation industry.

Founded in 2001, Icon operates from offices in the UK and Singapore, delivering multi-award-winning destination services, global relocation and removals, and worldwide temporary accommodation solutions. Our teams are supported by industry-leading technology platforms, ensuring seamless service delivery for our clients and their relocating assignees.

Rohit Kumar, Jt Managing Director, IKAN Relocation, INDIA, a DSP based in India that serves all countries in the Indian Subcontinent. The brand IKAN has been in existence since 1996, when Rohit co-founded this business with his childhood friend, Diwakar Gupta. Rohit is located in New Delhi and has been involved in the relocation industry for the past 30 years, achieving the unique distinction of starting a relocation business three times and selling it once.  Before entering the relocation field, Rohit gained experience in diverse industries such as FMCG, automotive, and the services sector. He holds a master’s degree in management and is also a certified cross-cultural trainer. Rohit’s favorite pastimes include reading a good book, traveling, golfing, and scuba diving, in that order. He has a 26-year-old daughter and a 22-year-old son.

Tanya Mariottini, GMS-T, Director, Global Mobility at eBay.  She has 20+ years of Global Talent Mobility experience working in diverse industries and matrixed organizations, including 15+ years in leadership roles, and has been on international assignments in both Asia and Europe. She has been an active member of WERC since 2007, joining their Board of Directors in January 2023. Tanya is also an advocate for Move For Hunger, a nonprofit focused on food insecurity and sustainability, and has actively participated in their Corporate Action Network since its founding in 2018, joining their Board of Directors in 2022. Tanya holds a B.A. in Business Administration focusing on Management from The College of Idaho.

Andrea Unser, Director of Strategy and Transformation at EER Middle East, the region’s leading corporate services, immigration, and global mobility firm. Having joined the company with an overarching mission to facilitate growth and profitability, Andrea is a vital member of the leadership team whose remit touches multiple business streams. Using her skills in strategic planning, Andrea has developed extensive organisational change proposals and overseen adjustments to automated technology platforms that have significantly enhanced operational efficiency all alongside creating a new management structure for succession planning. Her transformational impact goes even further as she has taken the lead on multiple projects that have resulted in substantial business improvements and value creation.

Having worked in a variety of international destinations within the professional services industry, Andrea is particularly good at dealing with people and understanding the nuances of workplace environments. This allows her to see how software and technology can be used effectively to add value within an organisation, ensuring that its integration is centred on saving time, money and resources, without detracting from the company’s overall objectives. Her extensive knowledge and digitalisation experience have already been hugely beneficial to EER Middle East’s productivity and she will no doubt continue to ‘transform’ the way we operate!

Susan GinsbSusan R. Ginsberg founded SRG ADVISORY as Managing Principal. She integrates companies’ vision and purpose, advising organizations to innovate in a changed world. Helping individuals and businesses create strategies through strategic transformation to achieve business growth. Drawing from over 35 years of experience leading a diverse portfolio of organizations, industries, and geographies in global mobility and retail. She has previously been in senior leadership roles at School Choice International, REA, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, saks.com, and Lancôme teams. Susan has developed e-learning courses on strategic business development and collaboration for Worldwide ERC ® and the European Relocation Association (EuRA). She is on the Board of the New York Council of Relocation Professionals (NYCORP) and, having lived abroad, is a frequent speaker at conferences and other events. Additionally, she mentors women and minority-owned enterprises with the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) and The Acceleration Project (TAP). Susan is a recipient of the Worldwide ERC© Award for Distinguished Services.
