TIRA presented at the EuRA Congress in Vilamoura, Portugal on the topic of digital transformation in the relocation industry. From automating administrative tasks and generating first drafts of client communications to analyzing data and identifying trends, AI is already transforming how relocation companies operate. The key is knowing which tasks to automate and which to keep human.
Not all digital tools are created equal, and choosing the right ones for your organization requires careful consideration. TIRA members shared their experiences with evaluating and implementing digital tools, including the importance of involving your team in the selection process and ensuring that new tools integrate smoothly with existing workflows.
The session also addressed the ethical dimensions of AI use in relocation — including data privacy, bias, and the importance of maintaining human oversight. TIRA members are committed to using AI responsibly, in ways that enhance rather than replace the human judgment and empathy that are at the heart of great relocation service.
